  • Senior Occupational Therapist

I graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. In-between a few years off with my babies, I worked with young children who have disabilities, within their schooling context. As a paediatric OT, I understand children within the developmental framework, but also consider their unique sensory, motor and psycho-social characteristics.

I love to help children overcome challenges; to develop, improve, or regain the skills they need for everyday activities.

    My Role

My role here is to partner with you, to create a safe space for your family to navigate the next steps on the therapy journey, to advocate for you, problem solve with you, to empower and equip you to set and attain your goals. Our sessions together will be individualised, harnessing strengths and addressing specific needs through purposeful discussions and targeted activities.

    Specific areas of interest include:

    • Play

    • Sensory Processing

    • Emotional & Behavioral Regulation

    • Fine Motor Function (including handwriting)

    • Social Skills Training

I have been a Special Education teacher since 2006, working across a variety of educational settings with children who have diverse needs both in Australia and abroad.

    MY ROLE

My services focus on helping children transition smoothly to school and ensuring they can access learning in their early primary years. Through engaging, individualised sessions, I work closely with families to develop key skills such as communication, social interaction, and early academics. Whether preparing for school or navigating early primary education, my goal is to partner with families to empower each child to thrive in their learning journey.

Her interests lie in paediatrics and neurological rehabilitation, and while she is new to working with children, she brings a strong clinical foundation, a commitment to holistic care, and genuine enthusiasm for developing her paediatric practice. Cara is excited to bring her skills to the Australian healthcare system and to grow within a paediatric setting.

  • Early Childhood Intervention Teacher (Key Worker)

Sol is a QCT-registered teacher and emerging Developmental Educator with a strong commitment to family partnership, multidisciplinary collaboration, and evidence-informed support. Drawing on personal lived experience, Sol is intentionally transitioning into early childhood intervention, with a practice centred on functional outcomes and genuine partnership with families and schools. To deepen this work, Sol is completing a Master of Autism and Neurodivergent Studies, with the Graduate Certificate component awarded in June 2026 β€” studies that align directly with the Key Worker model through coaching families, embedding strategies in natural environments, and supporting participation across home, early learning, school, and community settings.

Sol brings strong, current knowledge in AAC, Positive Behaviour Support, sensory and environmental adjustments, IEP development, NCCD, and functional skill development across a wide age range. With experience spanning early childhood through to Year 10, Sol collaborates confidently with kindergartens, daycares, schools, and families to support smooth transitions and inclusive participation. Sol's practice is grounded in neuro-affirming, strengths-based approaches, and a particular strength lies in writing clear, practical capacity-building supports that help families and educators embed strategies confidently and consistently. Sol is passionate about delivering coordinated, child-centred support that helps every child participate and thrive.

Jessie is a QCT-registered teacher with experience in a community-based kindergarten setting and a strong commitment to supporting children's early development. She has worked collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, and ECDP professionals to support children within her classroom, implementing therapy recommendations into daily routines and adapting learning environments to meet children's sensory and functional needs. Jessie has sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework and QKLG, and is skilled in building trusting relationships with children and their families.

Jessie's professional journey began in a different field, where she spent six years working as an electrical engineer. This experience strengthened her ability to think critically, solve problems creatively, and approach challenges with precision β€” skills that continue to enrich her teaching practice today. After becoming a parent, she discovered a passion for teaching, which prompted her transition into education. • Dietitian

Bree is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and mum of three with a passion for helping children and families build positive relationships with food. She understands that feeding challenges can be stressful and often impact the whole family β€” whether a child is a selective eater, has sensory sensitivities around food, struggles with mealtime routines, or has additional nutritional needs. Her goal is to provide practical, realistic support that fits into everyday family life.

Bree takes a play-based, responsive and child-centred approach to feeding and nutrition. Her sessions are designed to reduce pressure around eating while helping children build confidence, curiosity and skills with food at their own pace. Working in partnership with Access to Therapy, Bree collaborates closely alongside speech pathologists, occupational therapists and other members of a child's support team to ensure everyone is working towards shared goals. As both a dietitian and a parent, she knows there is no such thing as a "perfect" eater β€” her aim is to make mealtimes feel calmer, less stressful and more enjoyable, while ensuring each child is getting the nutrition they need to grow, learn and thrive.
