Access To Therapy is a service providing Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Early Childhood Intervention Teaching. We provide these services face-to-face in Brisbane West and the Ipswich Region. We also provide telehealth across Australia.

NDIS Clients

NDIS has Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, which we follow. We currently accept self and plan managed NDIS clients.

Access To Therapy invoices for both direct time spent with the patient/family and indirect time, which may include travel, reports, and case conferences.

These are outlined in our service agreements and schedules provided and agreed upon prior to the initial assessment.

Appointments

Core Services:

  • Initial Assessment: 290.99 includes:

    • Preparation for appointment such as reading reports/notes, the appointment and then collation of results.

Note: formal assessments including Speech and Language or a Sensory Profile may include an additional fee for scoring of the assessment.

  • Ongoing Therapy (Therapist/Early Childhood Intervention Teachers): 242.99 (1 hour appointment, 15 minutes preparation for session)

  • Ongoing Therapy (Speech Pathology Assistants): 108.49 (1 hour appointment, 15 minutes preparation for session)

Other Assessments:

  • Options after the initial appointment: Upon request - report for the purpose of NDIS. Intervention plan if completing our integrated pathway.

  • Formal Assessments - these are case by case and estimated individually based on the assessment requested.

Other appointment types:

  • Integrated Speech and Language Program: Speech Therapy Face to Face: One appointment - generally two-three billable hours (one hour assessment, one hour report, one hour therapy planning/program for - total 581.97.

  • Initial school observation appointments: upon request

Mobile Services:

  • Assessments in homes, schools, day care, and kindy: provider travel billed per km and maximum 30 minutes as per NDIS price guide.

Prices are subject to change if the NDIS change their the NDIS pricing guide. All NDIS clients receive our comprehensive service agreement and schedule outlining any costs, in line with this price guide.

Common Questions:

Can I get a refund from Medicare?

We provide a medicare rebate to appropriate and eligible patients for Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology. To access Medicare Funding, you will need to meet the eligibility based on the discretion of your General Practitioner. Plans are typically fixed and provide a rebate of approximately $60 per session. More information can be found on the Medicare website. We will update this page once registration is complete. Can you claim private health insurance?

If you have extras that cover Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy, then you can make a claim through your relevant private health insurance. You will need to pay your invoice first and then make a claim directly from the insurer.
