Physiotherapist (Subcontractor)

Paediatric & Community-Based | Greater Ipswich / Springfield

Access to Therapy is expanding.

We are inviting an experienced Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary paediatric allied health team as an independent subcontractor.

This is not an employment role.
You retain your autonomy, your ABN, and your flexibility — while accessing a steady referral stream and working alongside a collaborative team.

About Access to Therapy

Access to Therapy is a paediatric allied health service based in Springfield, supporting children and young people aged 0–16 years (case by case to 25 years) across clinic, homes, schools, daycares and community settings throughout Greater Ipswich.

Our team includes Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Early Childhood Intervention Teachers working within the NDIS framework and collaborative care models.

We are building a service focused on:

  • Access

  • Empathy

  • High clinical standards

  • Long-term workforce sustainability

The Opportunity

As a subcontracting Physiotherapist, you will:

  • Receive referrals aligned to your availability and interest areas

  • Choose which clients you accept

  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team when beneficial

  • Maintain your own professional autonomy

There are no minimum hour requirements.
You control your workload.

Remuneration

You will receive:

65% of billables (inclusive of superannuation equivalent)

Example:

If you bill $1,000
• Your total package = $650
• Super component is built into this percentage, Access To Therapy send this to your super fund
• You retain the balance as your business income

(As a subcontractor, you manage your own tax and insurances.)

What We Provide

  • Consistent paediatric referrals (early childhood through adolescence)

  • Administration support (bookings and invoicing support options available)

  • Access to clinic rooms in Springfield Central

  • Optional team meetings and case collaboration

  • A professional, values-led environment

  • Opportunity to grow alongside a scaling allied health service

You Might Be a Good Fit If You:

  • Are an AHPRA-registered Physiotherapist

  • Have paediatric experience (early developmental, neurological, disability or adolescent presentations)

  • Value autonomy but enjoy collegial support

  • Want flexibility without building a referral base from scratch

  • Hold your own ABN and professional indemnity insurance

If you wish to work causally or part time, please also contact us to discuss these options.

If you are a Physiotherapist looking for flexibility, autonomy, and a steady paediatric client base without running a full private practice, we would love to connect.
