Serving local families

Paediatric therapy in Bellbird Park

Bellbird Park takes its name from the bellbirds once heard among the local gums, and today it is a friendly, family-filled corner of Ipswich with new estates, leafy parks and schools like Bellbird Park State Secondary College. It is a great place for children to grow, and we love being part of that journey.

Our clinic sits just up the road in Springfield for families who like to come in, and our experienced clinicians and teachers also visit local homes, kindies and schools. We work with access, empathy and hope, partnering with you every step of the way.

How we support Bellbird Park families

  • Speech pathology — help with early words, being understood, understanding language, stuttering, social chat and mealtime challenges.
  • Occupational therapy — support for handwriting, scissor and dressing skills, sensory needs, attention and settling into school.
  • Physiotherapy — developing movement, balance and strength so children can run, climb and play with their mates.
  • Dietetics — friendly advice for fussy eating, food variety, growth and healthy habits.
  • Early childhood intervention (ECI) teaching — qualified educators, not therapists, who support early learning, play and school readiness.

Local and flexible

Families in Bellbird Park can mix and match how they see us. We visit homes, daycares, kindies and schools right across the suburb and into nearby Redbank Plains, Camira and Collingwood Park, so new skills are practised where your child feels at ease. The Springfield clinic is a short drive away when you would rather visit in person. However you choose, we make therapy easy to weave into everyday life.

What the first steps look like

Getting started is straightforward. Give us a call or send an email and we will have a warm chat about your child and what you would like support with. There is no need for a referral to begin privately or through the NDIS. We then get to know your child, agree on goals that matter to your family, and shape a plan around your week. Throughout, we keep you in the loop and share practical ideas to use at home, at kindy and out and about in Bellbird Park.

Frequently asked questions

Do you visit kindies and schools in Bellbird Park?

Yes. Our team offers mobile visits to homes, daycares, kindies and schools across Bellbird Park, which helps your child build skills in the settings they know best. The Springfield clinic is also close by if you prefer to come in.

Can we use NDIS or Medicare?

Both may apply. We work with self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants, and eligible children can access Medicare rebates for OT and speech through a GP care plan. We also welcome private clients and private health extras, with hardship assistance on request.

Do we need a diagnosis before we start?

No. Many families come to us with questions rather than a diagnosis, and you do not need a referral to begin privately. We start by listening to what you are noticing, then suggest a sensible first step.
