Serving local families

Paediatric therapy in Inala

Inala is one of Brisbane's most established and wonderfully diverse suburbs, home to families from many cultures and gathering spots like Inala Plaza and the Civic Centre. That rich mix of backgrounds and languages is part of what makes the community special, and we are proud to support Inala children of every family and story.

Our clinic is a short drive south in Springfield, and our experienced clinicians and teachers also reach Inala families through mobile visits to home, daycare and kindy. We work with access, empathy and hope, partnering with you and respecting what matters to your family.

How we support Inala families

  • Speech pathology — support for talking, understanding, clear speech, stuttering and social communication, plus help with fussy eating. We warmly welcome children growing up with more than one language.
  • Occupational therapy — building everyday skills like play, self-care, handwriting, managing emotions and getting ready for school.
  • Physiotherapy — helping children move, balance and grow strong through their milestones.
  • Dietetics — practical, respectful guidance on eating, growth and nutrition that fits your family's foods.
  • Early childhood intervention (ECI) teaching — our ECI teachers are educators who nurture early learning and confidence before school.

Local and flexible

We make it easy to see us in a way that suits your family. Our team visits homes, daycares and kindies across Inala and into neighbouring Forest Lake, Richlands, Durack and Doolandella, so children can learn where they feel comfortable. The Springfield clinic, over toward Goodna, is an easy trip when you prefer to come in. Whatever you choose, we work around your routines and commitments.

Working alongside your family

We believe families are at the heart of a child's progress, and we take time to understand what matters in your home. After a friendly first conversation, we get to know your child through play, set goals that fit your family and culture, and build a plan to work towards them together. We explain everything in plain language, welcome your questions, and share simple strategies you can use in daily life. If it helps, we can talk through your home language needs so you feel fully part of the journey.

Frequently asked questions

Do you visit homes and daycares in Inala?

Yes. Our team makes mobile visits to homes, daycares and kindies across Inala, so your child can build new skills in familiar surroundings. You are also welcome at our Springfield clinic if you would prefer to come in.

Can you support children growing up with more than one language?

Absolutely. Many Inala families speak more than one language at home, and being bilingual is a real strength for a child. Our speech pathologists tailor support with your home language in mind, and we can talk through any questions you have.

Can we use NDIS funding?

Yes. We work with self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants, as well as private clients, eligible Medicare rebates through a GP care plan and private health extras. If cost is a concern, please ask us about financial hardship assistance.
