The Speech Pathology Student Graduate Pathway might be right for you! 

We will onboard you as part of the team as a Speech Pathology Assistant, working alongside experienced Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Childhood Intervention Teachers. Be mentored and taught by leaders in paediatric Speech Pathology. You'll know the systems, team, and supervisor to make a smooth transition into your Speech Therapy graduate year.

• Studying at a university within the Ipswich/Brisbane regions and available for causal work.

• Planning to finish a Speech Pathology degree in 2025 and start work as a Speech Pathologist in 2026.

Implement treatment plans for clients assessed by a Senior Speech Pathologists. Clients are seen in schools, centres, homes, and community settings. You will receive guidance from a Speech Therapist mentor.

We will work around your university placements and schedule while you work as a Speech Pathology Assistant. Plan leave over the Christmas and New Year break to freshen up and celebrate completing your studies and then transition to Speech Therapy employment in 2026 once your SPA membership is processed.
