Our services
Paediatric therapy services in Ipswich and Springfield
Five professions, one team, for children and young people up to nine. Two clinics — Springfield and Raceview — and visits to homes, kindies and schools where that works better.
What we do
Each of these has its own page with the detail. If you are not sure which one you need, that is a normal place to start — tell us what you are seeing and we will work it out with you.
Speech pathology
Late talking, unclear speech, stuttering, understanding and using language, social communication, literacy and reading, and communication for children who are non-speaking.
Our speech pathologists are certified practising members of Speech Pathology Australia.
Occupational therapy
Handwriting and pencil skills, fine motor development, sensory processing, emotional regulation, attention and organisation, dressing, toileting and everyday independence.
Our occupational therapists are registered with AHPRA.
Physiotherapy
Motor milestones, toe walking, torticollis, hypermobility, muscle tone differences, coordination and balance, and confidence in active play and sport.
Our physiotherapists are registered with AHPRA.
Dietetics
Fussy eating, growth and weight worries, constipation and gut health, food allergies and intolerances, feeding for children with disability, and tube feeding support.
Our dietitians are Accredited Practising Dietitians with Dietitians Australia.
Early childhood intervention teaching
School and kindy readiness, play-based learning, early academic skills, routines and visual supports, and working alongside the educators who see your child every day.
Our early childhood teachers are registered with the Queensland College of Teachers. They are educators, not therapists, and that is the point — they work in the places learning happens.
How getting started works
- You get in touch. Form, phone or email — whichever is easiest. No referral needed.
- We talk first. A short conversation about what you are seeing, before anyone books anything. Sometimes that conversation is all you need.
- Assessment. In our rooms or wherever suits, depending on your child and what we are looking at. You will know beforehand what it involves and what it costs.
- A plan you helped write. Goals that would actually make a difference to your child’s week, not a generic programme.
- Review, honestly. If it is working we keep going. If it is not, we change it or we say so.
Fees and funding
We see families privately, and we work with NDIS plans that are plan-managed or self-managed. We are not a registered NDIS provider, so agency-managed plans cannot be used with us — we would rather tell you that now than after an assessment.
Our fees page sets out the costs, and we confirm them before you book.

For GPs, paediatricians, child health nurses and educators
Families do not need a referral to see us. If you are sending one our way, here is what happens.
- However it suits you. Letter, phone, email, or the appointment request form.
- We confirm receipt. You will know it landed and roughly the wait.
- We write back. Findings, goals and the plan, at the start and again at review. This is the part most services skip.
- We tell you when it is not us. Wrong service, or someone closer — we say so rather than holding the referral.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a referral?
No. You can contact us directly and book without a referral from anyone. If a GP, paediatrician, child health nurse or your child’s kindy has suggested you call us, tell us who — with your permission we will write back to them, so everyone is working from the same plan.
Can we see more than one of your professions?
Yes, and often that is the right call. Speech, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, dietetics and teaching sit in one team here, so the people working with your child talk to each other rather than sending you between services. We will also tell you when one discipline is enough and a second would just cost you money.
What ages do you work with?
Children and young people up to nine, from babies through to the early primary years. If your child is older than that, ask us anyway and we will point you to someone who fits.
Can we use our NDIS funding?
If your plan is plan-managed or self-managed, yes. We are not a registered NDIS provider, so agency-managed plans cannot be used with us. We also see families privately, and we will be upfront about fees before you book.
Where do appointments happen?
In our Springfield rooms at 2/8 Commercial Drive, in our Raceview rooms at 55 Robertsons Road, or wherever suits your child better — at home, at day care, kindy or school, or in the community.
Not sure which service you need?
That is the most common way families start. Tell us what you are seeing and we will tell you which profession fits, or whether you need us at all.
We’ll partner with you to create a plan that works for your family — with access, empathy and hope.
